Why Teerth Vikas Trust Was Established

Teerth Vikas Trust was founded in Varanasi with a sacred vision — to protect, preserve, and develop Bharat's spiritual heritage. Our teerths are not merely stone structures; they are living repositories of the wisdom, art, and devotion of the world's oldest continuing civilization.

From the Jyotirlingas of Mahakaleshwar and Kashi Vishwanath to the Himalayan Char Dham of Kedarnath and Badrinath, thousands of our sacred sites face neglect, encroachment, and decay. The Trust stands as a guardian of Bharat's spiritual geography — because preserving our teerths is preserving our national identity.

Mela · Satsang · Katha

मेला · सत्संग · कथा

Three ground-level programs that acquire new devotees, cultivate lasting relationships, and fund our restoration projects — run in sequence throughout the year.

🎪

Teerth Mela

तीर्थ मेला

District (1–2 day) and Flagship (3–5 day, Yatra-season) fairs held at temple towns. Live Annadaan meal counters, on-the-spot seva sponsorship, branded stall sponsorships for local traders, and Seva Champion volunteer recruitment — built for footfall and mass devotee giving.

🕉️

Satsang Circuit

सत्संग

Weekly neighbourhood gatherings, monthly host-led satsangs, and quarterly diaspora chapters — hosted by trustees and Seva Champions in homes and community halls. No hard ask on the first visit; a gentle three-visit cultivation sequence builds trust before any pledge.

📿

Katha Series

कथा

7 or 9-day Shrimad Bhagwat / Ram / Shiv Katha held to fund a named restoration project. Title and daily sponsorships, a permanent corpus wall inscribing every major donor, and a live-streamed donation overlay for devotees watching from afar.

Yes. Teerth Vikas Trust holds valid 12A registration and 80G certification. You will receive an instant e-receipt with the 80G certificate on your registered email after every donation, which you can use for tax deduction under the Income Tax Act, 1961.

Absolutely. Choose from Annadaan Seva (₹1,100 feeds 51 devotees), Rudrabhishek Seva (₹5,100 with your name & gotra sankalp), Deepdaan (₹2,100/month), or Gau Seva (₹3,300/cow/month). Photos and videos of the performed seva are shared with you.

Express your interest through the "Find a Teerth" section by selecting Kedarnath or Badrinath. Our yatra coordinators will call you with batch dates (typically May–June and September–October), route maps, health requirements, and transparent per-person costs. Yes — heritage temple adoption is one of our core programs. Submit details (location, age, photographs, ownership documents) through the contact form or WhatsApp. Our shilpakar team conducts a free survey and prepares a restoration estimate within 30 days.
